Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Teen Night with the Tacoma Rainiers
ORLA PTA is excited to invite students in grades 6–12 from all programs to join Mr. Walsh’s PE classes for a special evening field trip to see the Tacoma Rainiers take the field at Cheney Stadium!
Students will travel together from ORLA for a fun night of baseball, community, and summer kickoff energy. Admission, transportation, and a hot dog dinner are included at no cost to participating students thanks to PTA funding.
This event is open to students in grades 6–12 and their families across all ORLA programs, but tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Event Details
Departure: Students will leave from ORLA just after 5:00 PM
Game Time: 7:00 PM
Return Time: Estimated between 10:30 PM and midnight depending on the length of the game and post-game fireworks
Location: Cheney Stadium, Tacoma
Cost: Free for participating students
Included: Transportation, game ticket, and hot dog dinner
Important Information
A signed permission slip from a parent or guardian is required for attendance. Please click here to download the permission slip. Copies are also available in the office if needed.
Students may turn permission slips into the ORLA office.
Space is limited to approximately 15 additional students beyond the existing PE field trip group.
Students attending through their PE class do not need to sign up here. This registration is only for other students interested in attending.
Registration may close early if tickets fill before the posted deadline.
Parent & Guardian Information
Caregivers wishing to attend must be approved OSD volunteers through the Olympia School District volunteer system. If you are not already an approved volunteer, please complete the volunteer application as soon as possible, as processing can take several days:
