Project Reboot Parent Night

  • Olympia Regional Learning Academy 2400 15th Avenue Southeast Olympia, WA, 98501 United States (map)

Project Reboot Parent Night is a 90-minute interactive session designed to support parents navigating screen time and technology use with teens. Led by Dino, who will share his lived experience as a former tech-addicted teen, this event highlights common, well-intentioned mistakes parents often make—and offers practical, realistic strategies for encouraging healthier tech habits at home.

Throughout the evening, parents will engage with guided discussion questions and have time for Q&A. Attendees will leave with actionable resources, including dinner-table discussion guides, the Project Reboot Parent Handbook, and an invitation to join the Project Reboot online parent community. This community hosts ongoing conversations, shares resources, and offers webinars with students through the Youth Advocacy Network.

This event is open to the entire ORLA community, with a particular emphasis on families of students in grades 6–12. Childcare is provided; please indicate if you have child care needs when signing up below. Volunteers are needed to help out the evening of the event, and donations will be accepted to support the program.

A Few Notes on Signing Up

  • Please select one ticket per adult attendee or volunteer.

  • If you need childcare, please don’t forget to include the names and ages of your kids in the appropriate blank. Children do not need their own tickets.

  • If you’re signing up more than one person, you can click “Copy Previous” when entering contact information to save time—we mainly need an accurate headcount.

  • On the final screen, we recommend leaving the “Contact me” box checked so we can send reminders and any event updates.

Your participation makes this event possible—thank you for being part of our ORLA community!
